Hospice of Waterloo Region

The organization provides pychosocial, emotional, practical, and spiritual supports to individuals and their families in home, long term care, residential hospice and hospital settings utilizing community volunteers. The organization delivers palliative education through the Palliative Pain & Symptom Management Consultation program providing education to provider nurses, PSWs, physicians and allied health workers in the community. They also provide community engagement and education on hospice palliative care, advance care planning, caregiver education and understanding death and dying in the community.
