City of Kitchener

The City of Kitchener’s community vision is that together, we will build an innovative, caring, and vibrant community. Within the community, there are a number of strategies and initiatives that are moving Kitchener towards achieving this vision. These strategies include the Age-Friendly Kitchener action plan, #lovemyhood (Kitchener Neighbourhood Strategy), Youth Strategy and recently the Mayor’s Task Force on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
