COVID-19 Resources for
KW4 Primary Care Network

KW4 Vaccintin Information

KW4 Vaccination Information

Region of Waterloo Public Health continues to use its own booking system. A list of clinics offering the vaccine is available here.

Primary care providers can visit the eHealth Centre of Excellence vaccination support webpage for information about automated solutions now available to help them to seamlessly and efficiently document their patients' vaccination status in their EMRs. They also have developed EMR searches designed to help providers identify patients eligible for doses of the vaccine according to provincial criteria. As a show of support during this challenging time, these tools come at no cost to you or your clinic.

Digial Healt Supports

Digital Health Supports for COVID-19 Therapeutics (i.e. Paxlovid)

In collaboration with system partners across Ontario Health West, the eHealth Centre of Excellence is supporting several digital health tools for COVID-19 Therapeutics:

Paxlovid eligibility EMR search: These searches have been developed by our our team and use EMR data to find patients who are eligible to be tested and assessed for COVID-19 antiviral treatments (i.e. Paxlovid).

EMR-integrated Paxlovid prescription form: This form was collaboratively designed and standardized with clinicians across Ontario Health West Region and is able to be used throughout the province as necessary to help with Paxlovid prescriptions and referrals. These resources are available for TELUS PS Suite, OSCAR, and Accuro EMRs.
