Region of Waterloo

The Region of Waterloo provides more than 60 per cent of municipal services in Waterloo Region. The Region provides a wide range of services directly and indirectly to the community, including: services for public health, social services, region-wide planning, heritage, rural libraries, major transportation routes, water supply, sewage treatment, solid waste disposal, recycling, ambulance service, the airport, Provincial Offences Courts, public transit, community housing and emergency planning.
